Welcome to FamilyMap.

The goal here is to map out families for diwaniyas in Kuwait.

Kuwait has a family-based culture.

I’ve been approached multiple times with requests to build a family map that enables families to interact and get closer with other family members.

Lineage of heroes

Aggregate each family tree for research and family-community building. Have it available in both languages. And allow for wiki-like collaboration to allow families to submit stories to rebuild and communicate our past.

We’ll start with Khalid and his family as a case study, then use that to build our identity model to map out the world’s families and increase their closeness and understanding of one another.

How it’s expected to work

• We’ll have different shapes and colors to map out gender differences / gender identification.
• We’ll later collect and document the story of every person in the family. Their past, their present, and their future. Gather as many dates as you can. We’ll use that to build further content (movies, shows, animations, etc to showcase the evolution of the Kuwaiti society)

Family websites and apps for every family

We’ll need to collect the data, translate, and rebuild the websites for every family. The following is our current family website, which even I am unable to read or comprehend:

Figma and FigJam

We’ll use FigJam to build the relations, then use it as a base to connect to our systems. All objects are connected vectors. We’ll be able to use the Figma API to develop plugins that connect the designed maps into our ecosystem.
